Overview
University preparation is central to the vibrant and challenging
environment of the Senior School. We are proud to offer an exacting
academic programme which surpasses the BC Provincial Ministry
of Education's requirements. Within the academic framework of
the Senior School, opportunities are provided for student leadership
and community work, as well as excellence in sport and in the
fine arts. Senior School students are actors, athletes, musicians,
and artists as well as determined scholars.
The comfortable and supportive atmosphere of Senior School is
largely the product of a healthy union of tradition and innovation.
Students attend classes in the ivy-covered buildings of School
House, but a short walk in any direction will take them to the
doorstep of one of our newer facilities, the Crothall Centre
for Humanities and the Arts, science building and double gymnasium.
A fantastic new teaching facility for music opened in November,
2004.
