Duncan Frater is the Junior and Middle School Choir teacher at SMUS. Trained at UVic, Duncan received his Bachelors, Masters, and Teacher Certification in Music Education. An avid lover of Classical music, Duncan also conducts a 100-piece Community Choir and Orchestra in the Cowichan Valley. Active in both education and performing, Duncan has worked with the Education Liaison for the Vancouver Symphony; he has coached children to work with the Pacific Opera; and, whilst working with the Victoria Childrens Choir, he helped prepare a 40-piece Childrens Choir to perform with The Victoria Symphony. His love of the Arts and performing is evident in all that he does. |
