Born and raised in Victoria, Linda Kember earned her undergraduate degree at York University and completed her teaching qualification at the University of British Columbia and the University of Victoria. Ms. Kember has over twenty years’ experience as a teacher; in addition to Foods & Nutrition, her teaching areas include English, Theatre, and Textiles. She blends her love of travel with her passion for food and cooking and has worked in the Food Services industry in England, Holland, Germany and Greece. She has also travelled extensively in India, where she enjoyed sampling the local cuisine. Linda loves teaching cooking to children, and sees it as a useful application to sharpen math skills.
