St. Michaels University School is a co-educational, independent, day and boarding school of 930 students from Kindergarten to Grade 12, educating students capable of higher learning. Our boarding community includes students from more than 20 different countries.

The school's central purpose is to pursue academic success in an environment where the character and self also grow. The school has a full program of arts, athletics, extra-curricular activities, and community service, in which our teachers play instrumental roles.

An Exceptional Environment for Exceptional Teachers

Our faculty members enjoy small classes that allow them time to learn about their students and make a real impact on the lives of these intelligent and motivated learners. They also appreciate the bright, modern facilities where they have access to the latest learning technologies.

Faculty have the support of strong learning resource and counselling teams, as well the expertise of a full-time director of learning, who is helping our faculty apply the latest in brain and learning research to their teaching practices.

Our faculty are encouraged throughout their career at SMUS to continue their own learning through regular professional development sessions with colleagues as well as through special programs such as the Head's Professional Development Awards. This program awards four scholarships yearly to faculty members to further growth in their field of expertise.

Finally, SMUS is committed to ensuring that our compensation and benefits packages are competitive enough to attract the best educators in the world.
