Mathematics (.5 FTE)

Part-time Middle School maternity leave position. Expected start date: January, 2013.

This is a part-time, temporary position expected to begin in January 2013 until the end of June 2013. The successful candidate will have experience and training in teaching Mathematics for Grades 6 to 8.

Qualifications include:

  • Eligibility to teach in British Columbia
  • Relevant teaching experience
  • Understanding of the particular developmental needs of Middle School students
  • Understanding of current best practices and commitment to the needs of differentiated learning
  • Willingness to participate in the extra-curricular activities of the school • Support for the notion of pursuing academic success in an environment where the character and self also grow.
