Ann Glazier Rothwell is a portfolio manager with over 20 years of experience in capital markets and alternative investment strategies. Ann is currently a Partner at RPIA, a global fixed income asset manager headquartered in Toronto. She was elected to the Board of Governors in 2014 and currently serves as chair of the Advancement committee and sits on the SMUS Vivat Foundation board.

Ann grew up in Victoria and after graduating from SMUS in 1985, attended the University of British Columbia. She went on to work in institutional equity sales and trading with RBC Capital Markets, National Bank Financial and TD Newcrest in Toronto and New York. Ann was then co-founder and Chief Investment Officer of Alpha Scout Capital Management, a fund of hedge funds.

Ann is a Chartered Financial Analyst®, holds a bachelor of commerce degree from the UBC Sauder School of Business and is a Leslie Wong Fellow of the UBC Portfolio Management Foundation. Ann sits on the Sauder School of Business Faculty Advisory Board and the University of Victoria Foundation Board.

Ann and her husband Alex Rothwell moved back to Victoria in 2015 and have five children who currently attend SMUS Junior, Middle and Senior schools.
