Shelly Berlin is a certified management consultant with more than 20 years’ experience. Shelly is currently the managing partner at Berlineaton, a Victoria-based management consulting firm that specializes in strategy, business process redesign, and executive coaching. Prior to cofounding Berlineaton with her husband, Richard Eaton, Shelly worked for PricewaterhouseCoopers and Andersen Consulting.

Shelly grew up in Edmonton, attended the University of Alberta, studied business for a year at Walt Disney World in Florida, then relocated to Vancouver to complete her MBA. She and Richard moved to Victoria where they built their business, consulting to the public and private sectors, and to independent schools across Canada.

Shelly has worked in a consulting capacity with over 20 independent schools, primarily in the area of strategy development and execution. She recently completed the Athletics Program review for SMUS, and sits on the Facilities and Technology committee.

Shelly spent four years on the Board of Governors of St. Christopher’s Montessori School, her last year as chair. She is also enrolled in the Neufeld Institute’s Advanced Studies program.

Shelly and Richard have two young children who attend SMUS Junior School. Shelly enjoys running, hiking, travelling and, most of all, spending time with friends and family.
