Holiday Programs Instructor

Casual, part-time position, beginning March 2018.

St. Michaels University School, Junior School is seeking an enthusiastic instructor who can work as a camp instructor during holiday periods such as Spring Break, Winter, and Summer.

Key Responsibilities:

Responsibilities include program organization, planning, and delivery of fun and stimulating programs for children, ages 5-11.

Qualifications:

  • Must be at least 19 years of age
  • Emergency First Aid and CPR C
  • Previous experience working with children
  • Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
  • Must have completed a course/combination of courses of at least 20 hours duration in child development, guidance, health and safety or nutrition
  • Preference will be given to applicants who have some post-secondary training in recreation, youth, childcare or a related discipline
  • Two character references
  • A Class 4 Drivers License is recommended but not required
