Bus Driver

St. Michaels University School is looking for casual bus drivers to join the transportation team.

Under the direction of the Manager of Transportation Services, bus drivers are primarily responsible for transporting students and adults to a variety of locations and venues. Drivers are expected to conduct pre- and post-trip inspections, maintain cleanliness of the school bus, and ensure compliance with safe loading, riding and unloading procedures.

SMUS has a well maintained modern fleet of buses, offers a flexible schedule and a great work environment. Shifts vary from weekdays to weekends.

The successful candidate will have the following skills, background and interests:

  • Class 2 driver’s license with air brake endorsement
  • Clean driver’s abstract
  • Safety-conscious, courteous, and able to demonstrate a high degree of customer service
  • Enjoys being around young people

Must pass and maintain a clear criminal record check for the purposes of working with children.
