International Summer Programs for Youth (ISPY) Coordinator

Seasonal Contract, May 15 - Aug 25, 2017, $23 per hour.

You will be responsible for planning and organizing activities for the International Summer Programs for Youth. You will also assist with the maintenance of a digital database to manage and coordinate the logistics of the ISPY programs occurring during the summer. The position works with other coordinators to ensure the smooth operation of all the transportation, accommodation, and dining arrangements during the summer.


  • Must be eligible to work in British Columbia
  • Must be a current student, intending to continue studying during the 2017-2018 academic year
  • Should have prior work experience with students from different cultural and linguistic backgrounds
  • Relevant areas of study: recreation, business, management, education, social work

Desired Competencies

  • Excellent written and spoken communication skills
  • A valid Class 4 or 5 Drivers license
  • Valid Standard First Aid
