Grade 9 & 10 ELL
Our ELL program begins at the Senior School in Grade 9, where students study English and social studies together in a small, homogenous group, taught by a dedicated ELL specialist. For the rest of their subjects, ELL students are fully integrated in regular classes with their non-ELL peers. Grade 9 ELL students enjoy access to a wide range of extracurricular activities as well as opportunities to study different subjects.

The ELL faculty work closely with the English and social studies departments to ensure that the material covered in the ELL classes closely follows the regular English and social studies curriculum, so that ELL students are equipped to succeed on their provincial exams at year-end and are prepared to enter the standard curriculum by Grade 11.
