If students understand their strengths and are able to select the tools that work best for them, they will become effective learners with the knowledge needed to reach their goals.

Claire completed a degree in Journalism before being called to teaching. Beginning her career in Ottawa, she crossed the country to teach in Victoria in order to be closer to her family. Now with a family of her own, she enjoys traveling and outdoor activities here in Victoria.

Learning resource support helps students conquer obstacles to their academic success and Claire is a key member of that team.

“It’s all about minimum effort and maximum gain,” she says. “The priority is to work with students to figure out how they learn best.”
