Michelle joined SMUS in September 2022, however, before moving to Victoria the majority of her teaching career was at West Point Grey Academy in Vancouver.
Michelle is passionate about creating a classroom community where students feel safe, loved, and ready to take the lead. Watching children explore, asking questions, and learning about the world in their own unique ways is what drives her passion for teaching.
Outside the classroom, you may find her hiking or snowboarding with her family, or getting lost in a good book.
