St. Michaels University School is located in Victoria, British Columbia, Canada on Vancouver Island – which is on the west coast of Canada. We are primarily based on two campuses:

  • The Richmond Road campus, a 17 acre site on McRae Avenue, which is home to our Middle and Senior Schools. It is also where boarding students live.
  • The Junior School campus on Victoria Avenue, which is a safe and joyful place for our youngest students from Junior Kindergarten to Grade 5.
  • In addition, the school has a purpose-built rowing centre on the Gorge waterway. The school also owns a number of other facilities in support of the school including the Derby facility on Shelbourne Road.

Both campuses have long histories, with School House on the Richmond Road campus dating to 1910. However, our facilities are also modern, with constant upgrading having taken place over more than a century to ensure the school is able to change with the times.

You can learn more about our current ambitions for the Richmond Road campus in the Campus Master Plan, as well as important initiatives around environmental stewardship and sustainability in recognition of our responsibility to future generations.
