Governance: SMUS Society
St. Michaels University School is owned by the SMUS Society, established under British Columbia law to operate an independent, non-profit, co-educational school.
Parents or guardians of any current student are automatically enrolled as members of the Society while their child attends the school. Membership in the society is also open to the following groups:
- SMUS alumni
- Parents or guardians of SMUS alumni
- At the invitation of a governor of the SMUS Society Board
