Governance: SMUS Society

St. Michaels University School is owned by the SMUS Society, established under British Columbia law to operate an independent, not-for-profit, co-educational school.

Society Membership

Parents or guardians of any current students are automatically enrolled as members of the Society while their child/children attend(s) the school. Alumni of SMUS 16-years of age and older are also automatically members of the Society.

Membership in the Society is also open to the following groups:

  • Parents or guardians of SMUS alumni *
  • At the invitation of the SMUS Society Board *

If you fall into one of these categories and would like to become a member of the SMUS Society, please complete an application; we will contact you with confirmation of your membership. If you are a current parent or an alumnus, you do not need to register as a member of the Society.

* If you have previously registered in either capacity, you do not need to re-register. If you have questions about your eligibility or to confirm your email address with the school, please contact the Advancement team at [email protected]
