St. Michaels University School student Apollin Lu ’27 is featured in the Saanich News for her leadership of the West Coast Food Recovery Alliance Foundation, a youth-led initiative rescuing surplus produce from local farms and redistributing it to those in need. Lu has grown the organization to partner with a dozen farms across Greater Victoria and Vancouver, helping divert thousands of pounds of fresh food from waste to community tables.
