Former St. Michaels University School Senior School English Department Head Terence Young is featured alongside Vancouver Island author Bill Gaston in a recent CHEK News article highlighting an event at Munro's Books celebrating new releases by local writers.
Young is recognized for his latest short story collection Give Us This Day. During his 20 years at SMUS, he built the Senior School's Creative Writing program from the ground up, earned a Prime Minister's Award for Teaching Excellence, and inspired generations of student writers — many of whom have gone on to become published authors in their own right.
